ReRooted is a music-led content series by Studio BlueGreen, positioning nature as a creative canvas for artists to create music inspired by the environments around them.

This episode was developed in partnership with Big Give as part of the Earth Raise campaign for Earth Day. As a result, the project marked the most ambitious and elevated instalment of the series to date, with an expanded scope across production, creative, and campaign rollout.

For this episode, musician and writer Jordan Stephens travelled to Rainham Marshes to capture field recordings from the surrounding landscape. These sounds formed the foundation of a raw, reflective track, written and performed on location.

Developed in a flexible, artist-led format, the project explores the intersection of music and nature through short-form film and social content, offering a fresh perspective on how the natural world can shape creative output.
